Leadership is a skill that can be learnt, some may have natural abilities to lead but these skills can be enhanced through
training and education.
Introduction
The aim of this website is to help student of universities level to prepare themselves for the corporate world or their
general use. We have chosen the students as our target audience because we were student once and it was hard to find information
on what leadership was all about and also for those who are in a leadership role seeking to gain a better understanding and
insight into what makes a great leader. This website will gives the students a boarder understanding of what leadership means,
as well as preparing them for a leadership position or if they are already in one, improved them to a higher level of leadership
skills. The website consisted of four sections.
First part will be a short essay on the group view of leadership, which is base on the meaning of leadership, as well
as the theories of leadership. Also the group opinion on whether great leaders are born or develop.
The second part of this website is an investigation on the types of leaders that people are facing today. This is a summaries
of interviews that the group has conducted, with three local leaders. The questions that were selected for this exercise
were based on the subject of leaderships practices and skills. The interviewees were selected randomly, such as work colleagues
and managers. The purpose of this exercise is to bring across the types of leaders that the student might faced. Also from
the finding, you will noticed that, not all managers have the leadership traits and those who are not in the management position
might even shows higher level of leadership skills.
The third part of this website will be profiles of three exemplary leaders that each group members has selected. This
section of the website will inspired you, as will as captivate your imagination on how the leaders managed to succeed in
reaching their visions and goals. You will be amazed and shocked to find out the trauma and sacrifice that these leaders
have gone through. As well as designate to the audience the amount of determination and sacrifice that these leaders have
put themselves and the others close to them. These three leaders not only influences their country, but also impacted the
world with their beliefs. All three have simular characters, even though they all have different situations and are dives
leaders.
Finally we will conclude the website with a short essay on the major points that was covered, as well as
taking a practical look at leadership with a perception of leadership through the opinions of each authors.
